Barasingha Hunting in Texas
Barasingha Hunting Season: Barasingha can be hunted from August to February because they do lose their antlers.
- Origin: Asia
- Antler Size: 30-40 Inches
- Weight: 300-600 pounds
- Lonesome Bull Ranch Population: 45+
The Barasingha is a swamp deer and they love water. They are orangy and brown in color but often covered in mud. We are one of the few ranches that have Barasingha harvest permits which you will need when you go to your taxidermist. Also the owner of the ranch holds the record for #1 Barasingha ever harvested. Here at the Lonesome Bull Ranch we have the largest Barasingha in world and our genetic comes from the same ranch the Lonesome Bull Ranch owner hunted his #1 Barasingha at.
