We mostly sell zebras for live sale on the Lonesome Bull Ranch, but we do harvest one or two a year if you would like a nice mount or rug. You need a large caliber rifle and lots of ice chest. The meat is not the best, but people do eat it. Also check live sale of exotics on our website.
Interesting Zebra Hunting Information
In Africa the Zebra are known as the police because they are always right around the corner checking you out. Not one Zebras stripes are the same, they are like our fingerprints. The male Zebra breeds the females back the same week the baby is born. Females take 9 months to have the foals. Zebras get a bad name because the males are so mean to the offspring, they often chase young males out at 2 years of age and bite young females not quite ready to breed.

You may hunt our Trophy Zebra using any method you prefer, including Spot and Stalk, Bow Hunting, Rifle Hunting, Pistol Hunting, Safari Style, or from a Blind. All our Zebra hunts are fair chase on over 2600 acres of South Texas Brush Country!

Non-Hunter Per Night (Observing Fee): $210
- If you shoot a pregnant female of any breed, you will be fined $1,000.
We have full kitchen, cable TV, ice and a fire pit at your disposal. If a chef/cook is requested the usual rate (depending on how many in your group) starts at $125 per day for a group of 4 and up to $295 per day for a group of 20+ plus the price of groceries.
