The Black Hawaiian Sheep here on the Lonesome Bull Ranch usually have 1 ½ to 2 curls. They run in small groups of 8-10 animals. They are very easy to hunt and can be hunted with a bow. The Lonesome Bull Ranch also has Corsican Sheep, Texas Dall Sheep, Mouflon Sheep and Barbary Rams.

The Black Hawaiian Sheep is believed to be a cross between mouflon and black-haired sheep from Hawaii, after first Africans who came to Hawaii at the end of the 18th century shortly after Captain James Cook landed on the island. The result is a beautiful all black Corsican sheep.

Non-Hunter Per Night (Observing Fee): $210

We have full kitchen, cable TV, ice and a fire pit at your disposal. If a chef/cook is requested the usual rate (depending on how many in your group) starts at $125 per day for a group of 4 and up to $295 per day for a group of 20+ plus the price of groceries.
