The Texas Dall Sheep on the Lonesome Bull Ranch are huge and most of them have 1 ½ to 2 full curls. The Texas Dall Sheep are cross between Mouflon ewes and Rambouillet rams. The Texas Dall Sheep look similar to the North American Dall Sheep. The Lonesome Bull Ranch also has Black Hawaiian Rams, Corsican Sheep, Rambo Rams, Painted Sheep and various other cross reasonably priced.

Interesting Texas Dall Sheep Information

The Texas Dall Sheep were first created for hunting. Bob Snow at the Yo Ranch was the first to cross breed Texas Dall Sheep. The Dall sheep, also known as the thin horn sheep, is a species of wild sheep native to northwestern North America, ranging from white to slate brown in color and having curved, yellowish-brown horns. The two subspecies are the nominate Dall sheep or Dall’s sheep and the more southern subspecies, Stone sheep, which is a slate brown with some white patches on the rump and inside the hind legs.

We have full kitchen, cable TV, ice and a fire pit at your disposal. If a chef/cook is requested the usual rate (depending on how many in your group) starts at $125 per day for a group of 4 and up to $295 per day for a group of 20+ plus the price of groceries.
